Camping Lou Pignada is a family-friendly campsite set in the heart of the magnificent Landes pine forest. While the main draw here is the beach (1 mile), there’s plenty going on to keep the whole family occupied.
At the centre of the campsite is the wonderful pool complex. Children will have hours of fun whizzing down the water slides and splashing about in the water. Take time to relax on the spacious sunbathing terrace, or indulge with a beauty treatment or massage at the spa.
While this is a quiet campsite for most of the year, the site comes alive in July and August, with a daily programme of activities for all ages. Enjoy a delicious pizza at the restaurant and take in the lively entertainment!
Local area
The campsite is a mile from the beach. It’s easily reached on bike – the forest is criss-crossed with cycle paths – or there is a free shuttle bus in July and August. The area is a beach lover’s paradise, with miles of soft sand, and great waves!
The nearest towns are Vieux-Boucau and Messanges, where you will find a good range of facilities. Slightly further afield, St Jean de Luz and the thermal spa town of Dax make a great day out.
Good to know: The camping is car free, so it is not possible to park your car beside your accommodation. You can park your car on the parking outside the camping.
