Camping Parc des Allais is a small site set in beautiful green surroundings, ideally located for exploring the Loire. Boasting an enviable position on the banks of the Vienne River, in between Brenne national park and Loire-Anjou-Touraine national park, nature enthusiasts are spoilt for choice.
The campsite itself offers a wealth of amenities including an impressive pool complex with a indoor pool, outdoor pool with waterslides and separate children’s pool; a pond for fishing, canoeing and sailing; and a fantastic range of sports facilities. Bicycle hire and horse riding excursions are also available and offer the perfect way to explore the local area.
Throughout the summer children of all ages can take part in a selection of activities at the onsite children’s clubs. While adults can relax under the afternoon sun on the large terrace and enjoy fantastic views of the nearby river. France, is ten miles away and well worth a visit. Make sure you visit the castle and Church of Saint Maurice, or take a guided tour to experience all this picturesque village has to offer.
A 45 minute drive gets you to Futuroscope, a unique cinema based theme park that all the family will enjoy. Mini Chateaux Land, is forty-five miles away and is one of the first stops to consider when visiting the Loire Valley. Here you can view miniature models of the most famous chateaux of the Loire and decide which ones to visit.
