This is a popular campsite with good facilities, set in
Alfaz del Pi, a small resort around 3 km from the bright lights and golden
beaches of Benidorm.
Although busy, the atmosphere is relaxed, and provides a welcome retreat from the lively resort. Life here centres round the
swimming pool. There’s plenty of space to cool off (with a separate pool just for little ones), as well as a grassy terrace for topping up your tan!
Overlooking the pool is the restaurant, where a good selection of dishes (traditional and international) are available. Other activities on site include
tennis and boules, as well as an indoor pool and gym (entrance payable).
Local area
Benidorm needs little introduction. The one-time
fishing village is today a lively holiday resort. Camping Almafra is located one mile away from the centre of the resort in Alfaz del Pi.
Obviously the miles of golden beach are one of the main reasons Benidorm is so popular with tourists. Sun-worshiping aside, there are plenty of attractions in the town, including the popular Aqualandia Water Park (2.5mls) and the Terre Mitica theme park (5.5mls). In stark contrast, the old town is delightful to explore, with cool narrow streets and whitewashed houses.
Benidorm is packed with bars, restaurants and nightclubs – you’ll be spoilt for choice!
