Camping la Masia is a large and lively campsite on the north end of the Costa Brava
coastline, just 300m from a long white sandy beach.
Due to the size of the site, there are multiple pool complexes. Each complex has a large swimming pool and a paddling pool for little ones. There’s also plenty of space for sunbathing. If you can tear yourself away from the water, there are children’s clubs for those 6 years old and up, multi-sports areas and entertainment on the poolside in the evenings.
In the evening, you can enjoy a meal on the campsite or pop down the road to Blanes, which has a variety of traditional Spanish restaurants to enjoy.
The traditional town of Blanes is a 15 minute drive away. On the last week of July each year, a large fireworks festival is held over 8 nights. Each night sees a display by a different company and then a winner is chosen at the end of the week. It’s a great way to round off each evening of your holiday! Throughout the year, artisan markets take place and are the perfect place to pick up authentic souvenirs.
For day trips a bit further afield, Barcelona is within an hour’s drive. It is well worth spending a day or two soaking up the atmosphere and the gorgeous surroundings of the city. For a day out with a splash, nearby Parc Aquatic Waterworld should fit the bill.
