Located on the northern tip of the Costa Brava, just 15 minutes from the French border, Camping Sant Miquel is a beautiful, green campsite. Set on the edge of forest and just over a mile from the shoreline of the Costa Brava, this site is perfect for an active holiday but with plenty of opportunities to relax too.
During peak season, the campsite puts on lots of activities including Zumba, yoga, sports and activities for teens. In the evenings you can relax under the Spanish sun and enjoy live music and sample some local drinks. The site also hosts wine-tastings and trips to Colera’s wine cellars.
The swimming pool is perfect for a refreshing dip and the beaches nearby provide plenty more opportunities to enjoy the water.
This area is popular for those seeking an active holiday. Hikers are spoilt for choice in this area with a huge choice of marked paths and walking routes along the coast and into the mountains. Please ask at the campsite reception for help to plan your route.
Aqua Brava Waterpark in Rosas, is a half hour drive away, and had loads of rides for every age.
The area is also popular for water sports. Snorkelling and scuba diving are two of the most popular activities. The campsite is close to two world-class scuba-diving sites – Cap de Creus National Park and Banyuls-Cerbère Marine Reserve.
For culture and history, take a drive down the coast to Cadaqués, where you can visit the Dalí Museum. The fascinating city of Girona is an hour’s drive away and is well worth visiting.
