Presentation of camping Valldaro

Camping Valldaro is located in Playa d’Aro, in the popular Spanish holiday region of Catalonia. It enjoys an idyllic setting between the blue seas of the Mediterranean and the Spanish mountains. 

Accommodation is arranged neatly along palm tree lined avenues with beautiful gardens providing bursts of colour.

The campsite is large, spacious and ideal for families of all ages priding itself on its extensive facilities. Almost resembling a small village, there’s a fantastic choice of restaurants, bars and supermarkets - not to mention sporting activities such as tennis, mini-golf, football and basketball.

This campsite really does have everything you need for a lazy sunshine escape or an active getaway!

Local area

The family friendly town of Playa d’Aro is within walking distance of the campsite and offers a long stretch of golden sandy beach as well as fabulous choice of restaurants and bars. Discover the charming old town which still preserves its medieval charm. 

Aquadiver, a large water park with huge selection of twisting waterslides, is just 5 minutes by car and an exciting day out for all members of the family. When it all gets too much grab an inflatable ring and relax your way round the lazy river!

For a change of scenery take a drive along the winding coast road to the fishing village of Tossa de Mar. Here you’ll find the Vila Vella enceinte – an ancient walled city and only fortified medieval town on the Catalonian coast. The coastal drive is a worthwhile tour itself, with the chance to observe why the Costa Brava is referred to as the 'rugged coast'.

Barcelona, Girona and the Pyrénées are all close enough for day trips.
