Campsite Val Saline

Camping Val Saline could not be in a better location, set in the quiet bay it is named after, along a stretch of beautiful pebbled beach. This campsite is ideal for anyone who is looking to keep active as well as relax by the beach or pool and soak up the Croatian sun. The campsite features tennis courts, a football field, beach volleyball and even a mini-golf course, so there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained. 

The swimming pools at Val Saline are the highlight of the campsite. Situated by the beach, sit back and relax on the sun loungers by the lagoon-style pool. This pool is like no other, filled with natural pebbles and the sea water sourced directly from the Val Saline bay, it almost looks like its own private section of the sea! There is also another pool with a children's pool. After a day of swimming and relaxing, enjoy incredible views over the sparkling Adriatic Sea with a couple of drinks at the onsite beach bar.

The popular town of Rovinj (5 miles) is close by and accessible by bus from the campsite. The impressive old town of Rovinj is worth exploring, it was once secured by medieval walls with seven impressive gates, three of these still stand today including the Gate of St Benedict, the Portica and the Gate of the Holy Cross. Climb to the top of the tower of St Euphemia’s Church, the highest point in Rovinj, to enjoy spectacular views over the old town and the Adriatic Sea. 

From Rovinj you can also embark on a variety of day trips to the surrounding islands. There are 14 islands in the archipelago of Rovinj, including the very popular Sveta Katarina and Crveni Otok (Red Island).
