Campsite La Marine

At the heart of the Camargue, close to the resort of Le Grau-du-Roi, you'll find Camping la Marine. This campsite is a great base for exploring the beautiful area or simply relaxing under the Mediterranean sun. From here you can discover all that the Camargue has to offer, including the medieval city of Aigues-Mortes.

On site, the pool complex is a real highlight with its water slides and children's pool for little ones. For those wanting to keep active there are plenty of activities on offer including football, volleyball, boules and table tennis. Evenings on site can be enjoyed around the communal barbecues or with a relaxing meal in the on site restaurant. 

Local area

The campsite enjoys a great location in an area of outstanding beauty, close to the Mediterranean. The pretty seaside resort of Le Grau du Roi is a short stroll away and is well worth a visit to see the numerous boats in the marina and to enjoy a delicious meal in a local restaurant. The fascinating cosmopolitan cities of Montpellier and Nimes are both within easy driving distance of the campsite and make an enjoyable day trip.

The local area is home to Europe’s longest, wildest sandy beach, lovely little towns and lots of natural parkland. When you’re out and about in the area keep your eyes peeled for the local wildlife including pink flamingos and wild white Camargue horses.
