Campsite Mas des Lavandes

Camping Mas des Lavandes sits close to the seaside town of Valras-Plage on the Mediterranean. The site is perfectly located for exploring this area of the Languedoc, which has lots of fascinating cities within an hour’s drive. 

Onsite, take a dip in the pool to cool off from the heat of the Mediterranean sunshine. There’s space to enjoy a swim, whizz down the waterslide and a paddling pool for the little ones. Alternatively, pull up a lounger and simply relax. For more swimming, head down to the beach, just 1.5km away. During July and August there is a shuttle bus between the campsite and beach. 

In the peak months, the campsite really comes to life with a variety of activities run by the animation team. In the evenings, take a seat each evening to enjoy the variety of entertainment including dance shows, salsa evenings and karaoke. 

Offsite, the region has a lot to be discovered, with many fascinating cities within an hour’s drive. Discover the UNESCO Heritage like the old town of Carcassone or discover the Canal du Midi by foot or take an excursion by boat. Although, that’s only if you can tear yourself away from the sun-drenched beaches! 

Local area

The area surrounding the campsite has a lot to be explored. Close to the site there are numerous beach resorts which are worth a visit. Why not try your hand at sailing or other watersports on the gorgeous waters of the Mediterranean.  

Valras - Plage is the closest beach resort and is a former fishing village that has transformed into one of the region’s most popular resorts. Here you can enjoy watersports,  a stroll along the long promenade or simply relaxing on the golden sand. There are also lots of restaurants and shops to enjoy.

The fascinating historical cities of Beziers, Narbonne, Carcassonne and Montpellier are all within an hour’s drive of the campsite.
