Campsite L'Idéal

Camping l'Idéal is a fantastic base for those seeking an active holiday with plenty of outdoor activities. If you're looking for the ultimate thrill you may want to try paragliding in nearby Talloires. If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground, there is still plenty to do. The area is popular with hikers and there are many trails just a short walk from the campsite.

The campsite itself has plenty to keep everyone entertained with a fantastic pool complex and a wide range of activities to try. Just a short stroll away at Lake Annecy, you can enjoy a variety of water sports from a sedate pedalo ride to water-skiing. During high season, in the evenings the campsite puts on a variety of entertainment.

The campsite sits in a stunning location at the foot of the French Alps, just moments from the sparkling waters of Lake Annecy.

The local area is waiting to be explored! The pretty town of Annecy is a 25 minute drive away and it’s worth spending some time having a wander round and enjoying a visit to a patisserie or two! There is a cycle path that goes right around the lake which is just 600m from the campsite – it’s a fantastic way to spend a leisurely day taking in the stunning mountain views. The nearby town of Chamonix, nestled in the Alps is perfect if you fancy a day getting back to nature. From here you can visit Mont Blanc and the surrounding glaciers.
