Campsite Le Tamerici

Located on the Estruscan coast in unspoilt natural surroundings, Camping Tamerici has everything you need for an exciting family holiday. At the centre of the site you will find two swimming pools, one exclusively for adults, a large sun terrace with loungers and a range of amenities including a restaurant – pizzeria, snack bar, mini-market and a hairdresser. A short drive or bike ride from the campsite takes you to the small town of Cecina which offers a selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants.

Entertainment is provided daily for adults and children, as well as a mini-club for the little ones. Those looking to get active can take advantage of the onsite sports facilities which include a football pitch, beach volleyball court and tennis court. There are more options for a fun-filled day including horse-riding, water sports and the local water park, Acqua Village Cecina, all within walking distance from the site. 

In the evening, spacious emplacements provide the ideal setting for winding down after an action packed day. Alternatively, the onsite bar is great for indulging in a glass of local wine or beer. 

Local area

The campsite is located in the heart of the Etruscan coast, a beautiful area with unspoilt nature that stretches from Livorno to Piombino.  The nearest train station is located in Cecina (2.5 miles) a delightful town where you will find a variety of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. Here you will also find the local waterpark Acqua Village Cecina (30 min walk). 

Well placed to visit all the main Tuscan cities including Florence (73 miles), Siena (44 miles) and Pisa (38 miles). Within easy reach are the medieval towns of Tuscany, such as Volterra (27 miles), San Gimignano (47 miles), and the Calidario thermal baths in Venturina (22 miles). The islands of the Tuscan Archipelago are easily reached by daily boat trips.
